Founder, Lead Instructor: Priya Chokshi​

 

With more than 20 years experience in dancing and choreography, lead choreographer and founder, Priya Chokshi brings skill, talent and enthusiasm to Ek Do Teen DANCE. Professionally trained in Kathak & Bharat Natyam, and with a natural passion for “Bollywood” dance since the young age of three, this all-out Madhuri fan promises to have you swaying to the tunes of current super hits, as well as classic chartbusters. As lead choreographer for Masala, Inc and Masala Cruises, Priya is well-versed in areas of teaching various types of Indian-style dances, but prefers the filmi-andaaz of “naach-gaana aur jashn-mananA” (full-on filmi fun!)

Instructor: Chandni Patel



With a love for children and a degree in teaching, Chandni Patel makes for the perfect instructor with Ek Do Teen DANCE. What's more, is that Chandni simultaneously manages Ek Do Teen DANCE Academy and makes sure that all fronts of the company are in place. As a gal who wears many hats and looks great in 'em all, Chandni welcomes students to join her super-peppy Bollywood dance class. And when it comes to teaching kids, she says, "the more the merrier!"
 

Instructor: Sonali Gadkari

 

Sonali Gadkari is professionally trained in Kathak and Bollywood dancing. Sonali started her dance career in college where she was founder and lead choreographer for Chandni dance group. She is a dancer on the Masala dance crew and has been teaching Bollywood dance to adults and children of all ages and skill levels for the past 4 years. Sonali's passion for dance can be seen in her Kathak based Bollywood choreography and it is this love and appreciation for dance can be seen in her dance instruction. Her motto? "You dont need to be

a good dancer to join a Bollywood dance class...all you need is a willingness to learn and a love for Bollywood...leave the rest up to the instructor!"

Instructor: Riddhi Parikh

 

Riddhi Parikh has been on her "twinkle toes" since the age of eight!  With a background in classical Indian dance - Bharat Natyam, Bollywood and hip hop dance, Riddhi promises to bring a vast variety of dance forms into the classroom. Riddhi graduated from Texas A&M University and was the founder and director for "Aggieland's" first ever fusion dance team, “Akh Mastani.” After 3 years of directing her own dance team, she passed on the torch after graduation and started teaching Bollywood/Bollywood fitness classes for ages 3-62 here in Houston. With her experience in different forms of dance and teaching expertise for all age groups, Riddhi brings spunk, energy, technicality and an overall great experience to her students.
